Adam Pollet
Prior to 9 North Capital, Adam served as the Director of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) where he led Illinois’ state-wide economic development efforts and served as a senior policy adviser to the Governor.
Before joining DCEO, Adam worked in the Chicago office of the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. where he served client companies in the firm’s strategy and operations practices. While at McKinsey, Adam worked with companies in the energy, transport, logistics and automotive sectors.
Prior to McKinsey, Adam worked for the United Nations focusing on infrastructure investment and trade facilitation initiatives. From 2005-2006, Adam lived and worked in Afghanistan while implementing a UN/World Bank project to invest in key infrastructure needs throughout that country.
Adam received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, an MSc in Economic Development from the London School of Economics, and his BA in International Relations from Stanford University.
